After registering for a store, how long is the wait before I can enter the store admin and configure my store front?

The shared store domain usually takes a few minutes. You will receive a store setup checklist email after it has been set up in our server. If you register a new domain name, your domain name can take up to 48 hours. However you could use the shared store domain to log in to your store admin before your dedicated domain becomes effective.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes, you could just point your domain name to our server IP address 72.37.234.70.

 
How do I start transfering my domain to your management?

If you haven't selected the domain transfer product during signup you could go to buy page and purchase "Domain Transfer" product. Domain transfer adds one more year on top of your existing domain. After you place the order, please talk to your existing domain registrar to unlock your domain and get the domain authorization key. Use SupportTicket page to tell us your domain and the domain authorization key. We will start the domain transfer process for you. It usually takes one to two weeks depending on your exist domain company.

Can I upgrade or downgrade the store type after I choose a store type?

Yes, DotShoppingcart is designed to grow with your business. You can upgrade without losing your original work or closing your online store for remodeling.

What do I do if I forgot my DotShoppingcart password?

Go to your store home page and click "Log In" in the upper corner of the page. There is a "Forgot Password?" link in the log in box. Click that link and go through the form. Your new password will be sent to the your store admin email address that is on file.

What are the fees for DotShoppingcart web store?

There is a monthly Subscription Fee for the type of the store that you purchase.

DotShoppingcart will not charge Merchants a set-up fee! Of course, you may also choose to purchase other DotShoppingcart services for the additional fees set forth in the Fees Policy.

Do I have to commit to a long-team contract?

No. You may cancel at any time, for any reason. There is no cancellation fee.
